Farmor’s Sixth Form students celebrated a great set of A level results.  Despite having not had any prior experience of formal exams, their hard work and resilience has paid off and over 85% this morning have got their university or apprenticeship place of choice. 

We are incredibly proud of this year group: their experience of school has been hugely disrupted by the pandemic and yet alongside their exam results, they have competed in sports competitions, taken part in concerts, climbed mountains and completed the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. The resilience they have shown under such conditions is remarkable; they are exceptional, inspiring, and talented young people. Congratulations to them all.

The celebrations today extended to the Year 12 students who achieved an excellent set of EPQ results. Over a third of the year group took this AS qualification this year in addition to their A level studies with 50% A*-A. We look forward to more impressive results from them next year.
