Parents who wish to apply for a place in Year 7 in 2013 are invited to the school's Open Evening on Thursday 27th September 2012 from 5.00pm. The evening will include presentations about the school and an opportunity to meet students and staff. We have our open morning on Friday 28th September with tours at 9.00 and 10.15, please book with reception. We also welcome visits during the school day throughout the year. There will be tours for Y6 pupils (entry 2014) in early July, please call to book onto the tour or email admin@farmors.gloucs.sch.uk .
Every parent will receive a preference form from the Local Authority (LA). It is vitally important that this form is completed and returned to your Local Authority prior to 5pm on 31st October 2012. We ask that parents who live outside the priority catchment area complete a Farmor’s application form in addition to the one issued by the LA. This helps us to gauge demand for places and to contact you with information about the school once you have been allocated a place. If your child is at an independent school or coming from another country you will need to contact the Admissions department http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/transfersecondaryschool.
Parents wishing to apply for a place for other year groups are invited to visit the school by appointment and will need to apply for a place completing the In Year Application Form and returning it to the School either by e-mail admin@farmors.gloucs.sch.uk (preferred) or post .
