Course Content

The course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of a range of computing topcs which will prepare you to solve complex and challenging tasks. Computer Science is a methodical subject that requires you to be logically minded, inquisitive and with a keen interest in how computers work. This course does not only cover the academic and technical aspects of computing but it also allows you to use creative skills with software development.

Entry Requirement

Sixth Form entry criteria plus a grade 6 in Computer Science, a minimum of grade 6 in Mathematics and a keen interest in IT and how to use applications more effectively.

Career Opportunity

IT skills are used in a variety of job roles in all kinds of organisation. This qualification could lead to: Business Office Manager, Data Analysts, Operations Manager, HR Support Analyst, IT Helpdesk Co-ordinator, and Sales Executives.
