How to apply for September 2022

Applications will open October 2021.

Sixth Form Open Evening

We are delighted to be able to offer prospective students a chance to come and visit Farmor's Sixth Form. Our Open Evening will be held on Thursday 7th October, 4.30pm-6.30pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity to look around our facilities, speak to heads of department and subject teachers. There will be talks by Mrs Emma White, Head of Sixth Form and our Student Shadow Leadership Team. Times for these are 4.45pm, 5.15pm and 5.45pm.

You do not need to book, just come along. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Application process

We accept up to 150 students into Y12 each year from our own Y11 students and a wide range of other schools in Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Swindon, Oxfordshire and much further afield across the globe. Over 30% of our students join us having not studied with us before. This is our application process this year. If you have missed these deadlines but are interested in a place, then get in touch for a discussion to see whether you can still apply.

  • A grade 4 in English and Maths plus at least 3 more GCSEs at grade 4 or above.  Short courses do not count.
  • 4 grades or above in the subjects you are wishing to study at A level though a 5 grade would be desirable.
  • Please note that some subjects have specific entry requirements, see the Subject Information pages.

We can also accept students into Y13 when they have studied elsewhere. If this applies to you, get in touch for a discussion about whether this is a possibility.

Deadline for applications - Friday 22nd January 2022.

Formal Interview - February/March 2022
