Course Content

Core Maths is a new course designed for post-16 students who want to continue studying maths.  It will help you retain, deepen and extend your maths to be better prepared for higher education and employment. You will apply clear, mathematical reasoning to real-life problems, analyse and interpret data in various contexts and confidently deal with everyday financial maths. Core Maths is very different to GCSE maths.

Exam Board OCR

There are 2 exam papers at the end of the 2 year course. This leads to a level 3 qualification, which carries the same UCAS points as an AS Level.
