Course Content

Geography will inspire you to learn more about the world around you. The course is topical and will develop your perceptions and stimulate your investigative and analytical skills. Course content includes both Physical and Human Geography. Physical Geography covers water and carbon cycles as well as coastal landscapes. Human Geography covers global systems and governance as well as populations and the environment. 

Exams: There are two equally weighted exams at the end of Y13 as well as a piece of coursework that makes up 20% of the final grade. This coursework is a 3000 to 4000-word individual investigation.

Entry requirements

Sixth Form entry criteria plus grade 4 or above in GCSE Geography if taken.
