Course Content

You will study core content including: measurements and their errors, particles and radiation, waves, mechanics and materials, electricity, thermal physics, fields and their consequences, nuclear physics and medical physics.

Exam Board AQA

Exams: 3 exams in Y13 as well as 12 practical assessments graded at pass/fail.

Results 2022

A*-B: 67% | A*-C 89% | A*-E: 100%

Entry requirements

Sixth Form entry criteria plus:

Grades 5 6 in Double Science or 5 5 6 in Triple (6 in Physics) + grade 6 in Maths. If grade 5 is achieved in Maths then Core Maths should be taken in addition.
