Reports

Although we formally report to parents three times a year as outlined here, parents do not need to wait for these to know how their child is doing. All parents are given a log-in to Satchel One, our learning platform. On Satchel One, parents can see live data including attendance, homework submissions, any behaviour concerns and also any awards and badges for great work. Some subjects also put assessment data on Satchel One for individual assessments and tests. If you need help signing onto Satchel One please contact satchelone@farmors.gloucs.sch.uk

This online platform means parents know as soon as there is something to celebrate and as soon as work is not being done that should be. Therefore, parents and staff can work together to support all students to get into good learning habits from Year 7. Parents know what homework is set when and how well it is completed. Therefore, when reports come home, there are no surprises in the effort data reported as it summarises much of what is already known.

The additional information that the March and July reports contain is assessment data. This data is in percentage scores for Years 7 to 9 and in grades for Years 10 to 13.

All information about impending reports, parents’ evenings and other important things is communicated in the weekly Parent Bulletin.
