This week both years 8 & 9 have had an exciting enrichment activity! We welcomed Anna February, author of The Hive. The book is a young adult dystopian novel in which a future society, in the aftermath of a climate disaster, has structured itself like a beehive colony. Students were tasked with solving a murder mystery challenge racing to solve multiple puzzles to uncover the culprit. Students did an incredible job of dividing the puzzles between their teammates and supporting each other on some of the more challenging puzzles! Anna did book signing in the library during break time during which students were keen to quiz her on her career as an author and the process of writing books.
