David Attenborough's 100th birthday!

Our school library was transformed for a special celebration for Sir David Attenborough’s centenary birthday! Lots of staff took part by wearing animal prints around our school.
Students listened to readings from world-famous nature writing and poetry, inspiring each other to care about the natural world. We then listened to a special recording from Sir David, thanking everyone for their birthday wishes. Followed by the very important judging of our book or cake competition. It was a very difficult decision from our Head Teacher, Mr Surowiec! But a well deserved winner will be awarded a £10 national book token for their efforts.
