Students at Farmor’s School in Fairford celebrated achieving outstanding GCSE results today - the school's best ever results. Exam outcomes at Farmor's are usually well above the national average, but this year students further improved on the previous excellent record:
There was excitement and celebration as students collected their results and we look forward to welcoming most of them back into our thriving and popular Sixth Form for the next stage of their studies.
Headteacher Mark Surowiec stated:
“ We are delighted that our Year 11 students have achieved record high results in their GCSEs and other qualifications this year. Their excellent outcomes reflect years of hard work on the part of students and staff, and of course the commitment of their families who support them so well. We’re hugely proud of them and we wish them all the best for their next steps. The school and governors would like to thank all those in our school community who have helped students achieve these grades. We can't wait to see them return to join our Sixth Form in September.
