Y8 Arts Award Day - Collaborative mosaic
Friday 17 Jul 2026
Every Year 8 student contributed to a collaborative mosaic inspired by their own ideas about what is important to them at Farmor's. Friendship emerged as a particularly strong theme, reflected in the mosaic's border of small stick figures holding hands, symbolising the connections between students and how their experiences of learning, the arts, sport, and school life bring them together.
The students showed fantastic creativity, teamwork and enthusiasm throughout the day, and the finished piece will be a wonderful reminder of their time at Farmor's. Thank you to all the
staff
who supported the workshop and helped make it such a positive experience for our Year 8 students.
Keep a look out for it on display in school soon!
