The Sixth Form application process begins in September with the Open Evening. See here for this year’s prospectus, options and key dates. There are three stages to the application process: 

Application process

1. Submit application for Sixth Form in mid-January .
2. Formal interview discussion with a senior member of Sixth Form Staff in March.
3. Receive a letter either offering you a conditional Sixth Form place or declining your application - April.

Entry Criteria

We celebrate the E grades as fully as the A* grades at A level. The entry criteria, however, are to prevent students from making the wrong decision. A levels are challenging and we need to ensure that students have a good chance of success. Based on past experiences we have established the following criteria:

Our entry requirements are 5 x 4 grades at GCSE including English and Maths. There is specific entry criteria for several of our A level courses.
