Cashless Catering and ParentPay

Aspens Services

Aspens joined us in September 2018 as our catering provider.  Students will be able to buy a choice of freshly made foods before school, at break and at lunchtime.  Sixth Form students will also be able to buy from their own servery within the Sixth Form social space.

There will be a range of promotions and special offers available throughout the year.  To keep up to date, check the Aspens information weblink below, this will be updated regularly.  There will also be promotional posters in school for the students.


Allergy information is available for all items on sale, please follow the Aspens Information weblink below for more information on allergens. If you have any individual concerns or questions please contact Aspen's Chef Manager, Debbie Ovenden, tel: 01285 712302, extn125.  It is however important that you make sure the school is aware of any food allergies your child has.  This information is fed through our schools information system into the cashless catering system and will flag up any allergies when your child goes through the till.  It is still important that your child understands his/her allergies though and understands that he/she has a responsibility to check the allergy content of food they are buying.

Aspens Information


Aspens offer a wide range of food options at affordable prices.  There is a dine deal available every day where students can buy a hot meal plus meal deal dessert for £2.20.  Please see the current tariffs below for full details of pricing options.

If your child is entitled to a free school meal and allocation of £2.20 is credited to their account each day.  If you have questions about your child's FSM allowance, please see our freqently asked questions document below.

FAQ for Parents regarding Free School Meal entitlement within Cashless Catering

ParentPay is used for all payments that you need to make for your child at school (apart from bus payments).  This includes for example, payments for trips, books and catering.  Contact the finance team who will generate a letter for you with an activation code.  You will need to have this to register for a ParentPay account, their page can be found via the link below.  Once you have set up your account and have added funds, don't forget to then allocate those funds the the items you want to make a payment for.  There are at times optional items showing against groups of students.  Please note that you should only make payments to those items that you feel are relevant to your child.

If you have applied for financial support for your child and your application is successful, you will see that this is reflected in the balances due.  If you have any queries please contact the finance team.

They can help you, for example, to:
  • Link accounts for a child at Farmor's to an existing ParentPay account you already have for a child in a primary school
  • Set up your accounts so that parents or grandparents who want their own accounts but want to make payments for the same child can do so
